Stephen Curry, 29, scored 29 points at the Golden States Warriors game against the Philadelphia 76ers on March 14, matching his age in points. His performance ensured a major comeback in the game for the Warriors, who were down double digits. The points he added to the scoreboard helped end the Warriors’ shocking losing streak and give them a 106-104 win over the 76ers.

This was the fourth time Steph has scored at least 25 points on his birthday. The Warriors have a 3-0 record whenever Steph has played on his birthday. The next time Steph will play on his birthday will be on March 14, 2018, when he turns 31.

Stephen’s family and friends helped him celebrate his 29th year with an amazing cake, which was adorable with his notorious mouthguard and the Golden State Warriors logo. “Blessed to see another year,” he captioned an Instagram picture of the cake. “So many things to be thankful for! Steph’s wife, Ayesha Curry, 27, also posted a sweet birthday message on Instagram in honor of her birthday boy. “You’re literally like fine wine,” she wrote to her hubby. “Just getting better with time. Now you’re 29. Still all mine. Still dropping dimes. Still doing your thing. You make my heart sing. You drive me nuts… on your golf game, working on your putts. That’s okay though I’ll keep loving you.”
